Interim Finance Analyst

Grafton Banks Finance Ltd is pleased to be supporting a well known manufacturing business based close to Sittingbourne with their recruitment of an Interim Finance Analyst. This role will work closely with the production team and support with business partnering,management accounts production and year-end accounts.

A detailed description of the role is as follows:

- Completion of management accounts and reporting for all areas of production & engineering
- Completion of accurate & timely budgeting and forecasting for all areas of production & engineering
- Financial reporting of production output providing key KPI’s and performance for all activities with particular emphasis on efficiencies and cost control
- Financial evaluation of all key new product development
- Completion of quarterly balance sheet reconciliations in production and engineering
- Co-ordinating the interim and full year stock counts, working with contract partner and external auditors
- Manage and respond to requests of the external audit team on all matters regarding production & engineering
- Calculate and set the standard costs for all products. Assess variances against these rates
- Provide financial support for capital investment initiatives and complete post investment reviews
- Work with operations manager to translate and measure OEE data into financial impacts
- Complete and submit monthly returns for the Office of National Statistics

To be suitable your profile will be similar to the following:

- Qualified or finalist CIMA, ACCA, ACA.
- Understanding of Consumer Finance and Manufacturing industries advantageous
- Experience of using a computerised accounting package, SAP advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills
- Some knowledge of PowerPoint advantageous
- Ability to communicate complex information to non-financial colleagues
- Ability to perform well in a team environment
- Ability to build and support relationships with key stakeholders
- Good verbal and written communication skills
