Sewing Machinist

Mobili Office is a rapidly expanding, privately owned manufacturer of office furniture based in Skipton, North Yorkshire employing around 90 people over two sites.

We are currently looking for an additonal Sewing Machinest to join our soft seating divison

Main Tasks:

- Operate both lockstitch and overlock sewing machines
- Working with manual and electrical cutting equipment
- To assist in the organisation of materials for manufacture
- Working within a team to produce a wide portfolio of contract seating and upholstered products
- Working with a variety of fabrics and foams
- Assisting in-house designers with new product development
- Any ad hoc duties as and when required

Experience required:

- Previous knowledge of pattern making would be an advantage
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is key
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work as a team and project manage
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours (Full Time)

8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday

8.00am - 3.45pm Friday

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour
