We are seeking to recruit a permanent Psychological Therapist to NHS Forth Valley’s Substance Use Psychology Service. The postholders will work within a multidisciplinary team to offer psychological therapy to patients within the Substance Use Psychology Services. Consultancy and training will be core aspects of the role. The post holders will be members of and will contribute to NHS Forth Valley’s friendly and dynamic Substance Use Psychology specialty, which operates in partnership with our local Recovery Community to offer a matched care approach to psychological intervention. In turn, the Substance Use Psychology specialty works cohesively with other specialties within wider Psychological Services. As such there are ample opportunities for networking with psychological therapist colleagues including service wide reflective practice groups and CPD events. Staff wellbeing is given high priority and professional management support will be arranged.
