Assistant Dog Groomer/bather

Love Ur Dog is a specialised Boutique hotel, perfect for your precious pooches

We are looking for a grooming assistant to work alongside our qualified groomer. Our Puppy Spa is open Monday - Saturday, and the position will be to work these days.

**Duties**:

- Bathe dogs in preparation for the Groomer
- Handle and restrain animals as necessary during the bathing and grooming process
- Clean and sanitize grooming equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Assist with nail trims, ear cleaning, and other basic grooming tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the grooming services

**Skills**:

- Animal care: Knowledge of animal behavior, handling techniques, and basic grooming procedures
- Veterinary: Familiarity with common pet health issues, such as skin conditions or allergies, and ability to identify potential health concerns during the grooming process
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift and carry pets of various sizes and weights, as well as grooming equipment
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with pet owners, address their needs, and provide a positive experience

**Salary**: £5.28-£10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
