**Environmental & Sustainability Specialist**

Cardiff (site based 5 days/week)

Permanent/full-time

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop the site sustainability programme and be responsible for the implementation, reporting and compliance of environmental initiatives.
- Maintain Environmental regulatory permit compliance and site emissions reduction plan.
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders including Operations, Facilities and Supply Chain to deliver effective sustainable decision making.
- Develop and conduct training and educational programs to reinforce EHS awareness
- Liaise with external contractors to ensure compliance to Environmental and Sustainability requirements.

Essential Requirements/Experience:

- Environmental Diploma or recognised degree in Environmental Sciences - Essential
- Experience in an active Environmental Role
- Demonstrable knowledge of UK Environmental Legislation
- Strong IT/ and data analysis skills

Desired Characteristics:

- Ability to prioritise workload commitment and multitask
- Strong team player, strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of LEAN principles

Additional benefits:
