**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role is key within Operations and will have responsibility and accountability for coordinating product builds within a designated cell; advocating safe working practices and behaviours whilst ensuring high quality standards.

**Hours of work**

Monday - Thursday 7:00 am-5:30 pm.

**Key responsibilities**

**Health & Safety**
- Champion safe working practices. Ensure health and safety is a priority within the team and designated cell - e.g., correct PPE worn at all times, high standard of housekeeping etc.

**Quality**
- Deliver the highest possible standard of quality working to a zero defects culture
- 100% compliance on all quality checks at each build stage; ensuring operatives are completing effectively and taking ownership for their work.

**Operational Performance**
- Delivery, controlling and managing the day-to-day production within cell to achieve takt, build to schedule and on time delivery targets.
- Planning, organising and optimising resource within designated cell, ensuring team members have adequate workflow and resources to meet daily targets.
- Ensure all work instructions are followed correctly and designated work is completed within timeframes.

**Essential**
- Previous experience gained in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 9 months experience in conveyor assembly.
- A working understanding of lean manufacturing
- Ability to lead, motivate and inspire excellent performance from team.
- A proactive and flexible working approach with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to problem solve and overcome difficult situations.
- Strong attention detail
- Good written & verbal communication skills

**Preferred**
- Minimum of 6 months experience of Sandvik / Rubble Master specific assembly.
