**Job Specification**

Role: Support Worker

Rates from: £14.34-£17.56 Hourly

Located in: Cardiff

Start Date: Asap

Duration / Likely Duration: On-going

Full-time/Part-time: Both full-time & part time available

Hours: Days 8am-6pm / Nights 6pm - 8am

**Requirements to succeed**
- Excellent communication abilities for interacting with clients, families, and colleagues
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Empathy and compassion towards the individuals you support
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and service user needs

**Experience, Training & Qualifications**
- Experience in redirecting challenging behaviours and de-escalation techniques.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience in tenancy support, the mental health field, dealing with drug and alcohol abuse, helping people with housing and their benefits would be beneficial and desirable, but are not mandatory.
- Registration with Social Care Wales (mandatory requirement).
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle (mandatory requirement).
