We are working with a well-established engineering business in Braintree that due to growth, is looking to recruit several additional roles.

It has a large regular order book, but also undertakes regular bespoke architectural projects for clients. In the past, they have also done one-off projects including the Cenotaph War Memorial in London.

Due to their continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Workshop Operative to assist the production team in manufacturing cast metal products for various clients.

You will be responsible for:

- Drilling/countersinking.
- Shot blasting.
- Fettling.
- Plasma cutting.
- Completing QA documents and final inspection.

The organisation has ambitious plans to grow its production over the next few years, so there will be plenty of scope for career development and it is happy to support any personal development/training required to do this.

They are prepared to pay a salary of £12.52-£13.22 per hour. Equating to £25,400-£26,800.

The company also usually awards a profit-related bonus of £1k pa. Overtime is paid on weekdays and Saturdays at 1.5x and 2x on Sundays.
