**Job Purpose**:
Work with warehouse colleagues to ensure efficient, safe and accurate handling of stock and delivery of high quality service to all customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning and coordinating workload within AVS and Production departments.
- Directing and supporting the team to achieve business KPIs linked to productivity, health & safety and customer satisfaction.
- Working with other business managers to streamline and improve existing processes and strengthen cross-departmental cooperation.
- Championing continuous improvement culture to help deliver business cost objectives.
- Perform core operational tasks such as goods receipt, put away, pick and pack customer orders in alignment with established company processes and SSW documentation (Safe System of Work);
- Ensure all stock is stored, handled and transported securely and in line with company procedures, hygiene legislation and health and safety guidelines;
- Work with colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company and legislative standards at all times;
- Support with co-ordination and usage of MHE equipment ensuring daily safety checks are conducted thoroughly and company warehouse guidelines observed;
Knowledge Skills and Experience
- Duties involve **regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting**. Manual handling training to be provided;
- Conscientious, reliable, with good attendance and timekeeping standards;
- Honest, trustworthy, able to work unsupervised;
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Keen to learn and acquire new skills, responds positively to feedback;
- Pragmatic approach to problem-solving without cutting corners;
- Good understanding of, and commitment to, safe working practices;
- Flexible, adaptable, and calm when working under pressure;
- Possesses a good standard of numeracy and literacy, and IT competent (MS Office);
- Qualified and competent to operate a Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Truck (if required).
- Demonstrate professional behaviour at all times;
- Assist in the promotion of a fair and just culture by being open, honest, supportive and respectful to others;
