**Your new company**
Hays Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with an Ofsted rated "Good" children's service provider as they require an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to assist with the running of a well-established home in St Helen's for children andyoung people with challenging behaviours and trauma.
**Your new role**
In your new position you will work alongside the Registered Manager to ensure a safe, effective, and efficient systems and processes are in place and adhered to ensuring that regulations are met and preferably exceeded. You will be supporting children and youngpeople with challenging behaviours and trauma in a secure unit so a strong will and understanding is essential. You will liaise with and support colleagues by observing practices, coaching, and leading by example as to ensure that the needs of the young peopleare at the heart of all operations, which will in turn promote a safe and caring environment whilst also performing at high quality standards.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Level 5 diploma in leadership and management or working towards is essential
- Level 3 diploma in residential childcare
- A desire to further develop your career through training and developmental supervision
- Experience supporting young people and experience of carrying out managerial quality assurance duties
