**Summary and purpose of position**
- We have an exciting opportunity to work for our new customer at Medway. We are looking for an Operational Administrator to join our Team who will be responsible and accountable for operational administrative duties across the warehouse functions. You will be responsible for all warehouse transactions into the warehouse management systems, for receiving, locating, storage and planning of customer orders while working closely with warehouse, office, and management staff. You will be required to communicate effectively, be technically proficient and able to accomplish time-sensitive tasks, promptly and on time. Remaining calm under pressure, multi-task, and effectively problem-solve. A very high level of accuracy and commitment is required.- Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00-18:00, Monday
- Friday 14:00-22:00 _
- Salary: 26,000-27,040 PA _

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Communicate effectively across a cross-range of individuals including both internal and external customers.
- Develop and use knowledge and experience of Wincanton Warehouse operations to achieve the agreed supply chain requirements.
- Act as a key contributing factor for the optimal and efficient steering of all operational processes in the warehouse.
- Effectively plan all volume, both inbound and outbound, in conjunction with operational availability.
- Co-ordinate with other departments to make on-site decisions by managing order flow through WMS Systems.
- Prioritise flow to secure availability in the best way - CDC Despatch planner, Service level, Old orders, Lead time, Transit - dictate such priorities to the operation.
- Ensure that all drivers are fully aware of the site rules and regulations and maintain these throughout their time on site.
- Collect, file and distribute operational data accurately in the forms of reports and on-site displays.
- Ensure that all outbound dispatch loads are verified for accuracy at point of sealing
- Take an active part in the development of operational processes. Be responsible for own as well as others Health and Safety while on site.

**Experience, Skills, and Attributes**:

- Be flexible and respond positively and reliably to internal and external customer requests.
- Experience of warehouse management systems within a distribution operation.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office to be able to produce spreadsheets and databases.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels. Comfortable working in a pressurised environment and to tight deadlines

- Adaptable: Flexible; versatile; ability to change your ideas or behaviour to deal with new situations _
