**Pickfords **are looking for a **Warehouse Operations Supervisor** to be a part of a team of motivated workers. Pickfords is a fantastic national brand who specialise in removals and storage, offering a full range of professional removals and storage services for home and business.

The role is based on and around a Military base, and with no lone working you will always be part of a great team. A competitive salary will be offered alongside the opportunity to work in a well established company.

No weekends or shift work - Monday to Friday only.

**Job Purpose**:

- The day-to-day management of performance to meet operational, service and administrative KPI's.
- The management and motivation of subordinate staff to ensure a high level of quality and efficiency is maintained.
- To deliver a high-quality service within budget.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monthly and Weekly scheduling and resource planning against anticipated forecasts.
- Daily operation of vehicles and staff in a cost-effective manner to ensure optimum resource utilisation to meet customer requirements.
- Daily operation of stores including stock control, ordering and reporting, inventory management.
- Maintain operational and administrative processes within the system.
- Produce daily job sheets, ensure all sheets are handed in at end of day.
- Liaise with customers and cell planners on schedules and operational matters as appropriate.
- As a member of the management team, take collective responsibility with other managers for the overall performance of the contract, as defined by the director.
- Review training needs through a minimum of one appraisal meeting with each member of the team per annum and quarterly department meetings.
