Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with an organisation based in Wallsend for the position of purchase ledger.

**PURPOSE**

Manage college Purchase Ledgers in accordance with the financial regulations and prepare creditor payments to suppliers.

**KEY RESULT AREAS**
- Responsibility for the control and recording of all purchase invoices onto the college purchase ledgers.
- Preparation of periodic supplier payment runs for approval by Head of Finance
- Monthly reconciliation and rolling of the college purchase ledgers.
- Provide support to the Finance Managers in the production of the monthly management accounts.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors as required.
- Responsibility for the maintenance and update supplier details on finance system as required, ensuring that information has been received from a known source in order to avoid attempts of fraud.

Annual leave is 30 days (pro-rata) plus bank holidays

AAT training offered

Hours:
Mon - Thurs 8.30pm - 5.00pm (1 hour lunch)

Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm (1 hour lunch)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
