**Position**:

We are looking for passionate and like-minded individuals, to join our existing dynamic and expertly trained team, to deliver our world class evidence-based learning support.

The role of the Wellbeing and Employability Coach is to support, inspire, motivate and encourage disadvantaged and vulnerable people to progress into a number of positive outcomes, including: increasing wellbeing; develop independent living skills; job searching; pre-employment training; educational courses; jobs or Apprenticeships. You will be providing one to one support and small group workshops and activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To assess customer needs to identify the relevant support to help them achieve individual goals including sustained education or employment
- To develop an action plan for each resident/tenant to help them achieve their goals
- Provide a range of 1-1 or group sessions/workshops which will help customers to improve their wellbeing, independent living and employability skills
- Actively promote the programme within BCHA Services & local community
- Assist line management to co-ordinate and plan your service delivery
- Support and monitor participant progression through the programme, accurately capturing relevant data, quality assuring delivery and fulfilling Commissioner reporting
- Proactively contribute ideas to support service

**Requirements**:
Experience of the challenges faced by deprived and vulnerable client groups

Knowledge of Diversity, Safeguarding and Prevent issues

Excellent ICT Skills in Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience of using Case management systems

Experience of arranging group activities and workshops

Confident in delivering group or one to one sessions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong Administrative Skills

Able to work from a therapeutic framework such as PIE, TIC, Strengths Based Approach

Able to provide Information, Advice and Guidance as part of ongoing support

Acts professionally at all times

Has a positive outlook, calm and considered

To adhere to and work towards achieving performance against BCHA KPIs and(or) service specific outcomes

Sets high standards of service for self

A sound knowledge of of health and wellbeing issues and ability to develop appropriate interventions or signpost accordingly
