Raw Material Planner - 24 Month FTC

**JOB SUMMARY**:

- To ensure raw materials and packaging are ordered in a timely manner to support the plant production plan.
- To control stock levels within the storage constraints whilst minimizing material stock outs.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To run Material Requirements Planning reports in SAP to establish actual demand
- To create Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders for raw materials and packaging to support the plant production plans
- To expedite purchase orders to ensure delivery and escalate overdue purchase orders to ensure minimum production disruption
- To manage raw materials stock levels within storage constraints and to budget
- To plan and control the Roast house production to meet internal and external customer requirements. This includes delivery of beans and ordering inbound external liquor deliveries.
- To resolve supplier paperwork issues / discrepancies / quality rejections
- General housekeeping in SAP e.g. clearing part purchase orders / highlighting outstanding Process Orders / outstanding Goods Receipting / outstanding Quality Inspections
- To reconcile stock figures on a cycle counting basis
- Issue expected delivery reports for receiving personnel
- Provide Key Performance information on supplier evaluation on a monthly basis
- Provide absence / holiday cover for Solids Planning
- Control the return of pool pallets (E pal & GKN)

**REQUIRED ACADEMIC & TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum A-Level qualification or equivalent
- Degree/professional qualification in Business Management or similar preferred

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

**TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES**:

- Working knowledge of SAP
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills

**PERSONAL STYLE / ATTITUDE / MOTIVATION**:

- Effective communication with all stakeholders
- Must be able to prioritise
- Able to work under pressure and deal with issues that may arise
- Work well within a team setting but also self-motivated
