Payroll Administrator

Previous experience in a professional office is required
- The day to day administration of multiple client payrolls, including RTI submissions, within deadlines set by clients or legislation.
- The processing of any amendments to the payroll that are required, whether due to a client’s instructions or legislative changes.
- The utilization of payroll software. A working knowledge of Sage Payroll Software would be advantageous.
- Processing manual payroll calculations, if required, including salary sacrifice schemes and advance payments.
- Dealing with calculations and regulatory compliance with regard to redundancy, statutory maternity/paternity pay.
- Processing the submissions to pension providers required by legislation.
- Processing BACS payments.
- Keeping up to date with new payroll legislation and compliance.
- Producing essential reconciliations and analysis.
- Liaison with HMRC.
- To use own initiative to resolve issues and assist team members where possible, by providing a range of solutions and seeking advice where necessary.
- Dealing with client or regulatory queries when they arise.
- To work with other departments in order to help provide clients with the full range of services they require.
- To communicate proactively with clients details regarding the full range of services offered by the firm, to clients and fellow professionals.
