Yard Operative

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Assisting customers when loading products into their vehicles
- Ensure customers sales and orders are processed efficiently
- Support loading & unloading deliveries of stock
- Regular use of machinery (tele-trucks & loading shovel)
- Daily checks on machinery
- keeping on top of cleaning & maintenance
- Keep the presentation of the yard to a high standard
- clearing all unnecessary debris
- Ensure the yard is clear of excess stock
- stock needs to be put away once delivered, and replenish stock when necessary
- Giving product advice to customers if required, approaching customers to offer assistance

**Skill Requirements**:

- Physically able to commit to the roles above
- Hard working
- physical role in a fast pace working environment
- Customer service/ sales experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Strong ability to work within a team structure
- alongside being able to use your own initiative
- Full UK driving license is beneficial but not essential

**Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5.00pm & Saturday 7:30am
- 12 noon**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £1.00 per year

- Boston Spa, West Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
