**Salary**:Circa £20,100 per annum pro rata

**Working Pattern**: Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

**What is the role?**

Working as part of our multi-disciplined teams, we have a range of opportunities for students to support projects across our Transmission business. We're at the forefront of some really high-profile projects which are ensuring our transmission network is structurally sound, operating safely and efficiently and providing sustainable and reliable energy to all.

Our Transmission Offshore Delivery summer placement provides real hands-on experience through a 12 week placement. Throughout placement, you will have the support of a business mentor and manager, who will provide guidance and support to enable you to reach your full potential.

**What do I need?**

We have opportunities for those studying degrees inclusive of; Construction and the Built Environment, Strategic Project Management, Safety and Risk Management, Marine Renewable Energy, Estuary and Costal Geosciences, Construction Project Management, Civil Engineering and Construction Management. Our opportunities are open to students who are in their 2nd year of their degree onwards or those who have already graduated.

We'd love you to have some practical work or project experience that reflects your passion for the energy sector, as well as demonstrable experience of working in a team. You'll also be comfortable working to and setting stretching individual targets and using your own initiative to overcome challenges and should have a genuine interest in SSE and the prospect of a long-term future with us.
