Facility Assistant

**Job Summary**:
Salary will be pro-rated for Employees working less than 37 hours per week.

East Dunbartonshire Leisure & Culture Trust was formed to deliver Leisure and Cultural services on behalf of East Dunbartonshire Council. East Dunbartonshire is home to three popular leisure centres - the Leisuredrome in Bishopbriggs, the Allander Leisure Centre in Bearsden and Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre.

Due to further expansion and development of these leisure services, we are looking to recruit the following position to complement our existing staffing across East Dunbartonshire Leisure & Culture Trust.

These post are for the new Allander Leisure Centre and Adult Resource Centre which opened in early 2023.

**2 x** **Permanent** **Part -** **Time** **Facility Assistants (£20,931 - £21,703)**

**1 x 25 hour 9:30 - 14:30 Monday to Friday**

**1 x 25 hour 15:00 - 20:00 Monday to Friday**

The cleaning of Leisure Services facilities, to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

**For all posts**:
The post holders will be required to work outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Disclosure Scotland checks will apply.

**PVG/Disclosure Scotland**:
The following criteria applies to all roles within East Dunbartonshire Council where PVG/Disclosure checks are essential criteria

In specific circumstances the payment could be deducted in instalments from an employee’s wages following commencement of employment. Approval in such circumstances will be made by HR Services Lead.

Should an employee leave in advance of the payment being deducted, the full amount will be deducted from the employee’s final salary.
