**The Recruitment Group is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for one of the country’s leading suppliers in quality pet food products.**
**Location** - NN6
**Salary**- £46,729 basic
**Hours -** 4 on 4 off days and nights
**Company Background**
Our client is one of the country’s leading suppliers in quality pet food products. The entire production process happens on this site, and the maintenance teams are generally split between the canning and pouch operations.
**Role Overview**
Required to be proficient in both reactive and planned electrical maintenance.
Ability to fault find with a Multimeter and read electrical drawings is vital
It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer to ensure that production keeps runningTo adhere to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
To compile maintenance reports, liaise with other pertinent members of staff (such as team leaders, site service operatives, and upper management), and actively work towards the planning of downtime, PPM schedules, and hitting KPIs.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition/HNC/HND/NVQ Level 3/other recognized electrical/mechanical trade qualification is essential
- Must be able to fault-find with a Multimeter and read electrical drawings
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG, food-based environments is preferable
- Knowledge of working with Siemans S7 or S5 / Allen Bradley PLCs to a fault-finding or programmable level is desirable
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene/Food Safety legislation is essential

**Benefits**
Night shift allowance, bonus paid for every 4 weeks of 100% attendance (not including annual leave), 21 days of holiday entitlement (plus Bank Holidays)
