We're excited to announce that Sheridan Maine is partnering with a manufacturing company to recruit a Finance Business Partner for their Warminster-based team. This offers a fantastic opportunity for a CIMA/ACCA qualified Accountant to become part of an expanding business.

In this role, you will take on the responsibility of overseeing the day-to-day finance operations and collaborating closely with a specific business unit to establish a meaningful and dynamic partnership with both operations and management.

**Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner include**:

- Manage day-to-day transactional finance and management accounts
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and support Finance Manager in reporting and analysis
- Prepare month-end and year-end journal adjustments
- Oversee day-to-day workflow and monthly management accounts
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition and timely settlement
- Review and enhance internal controls for financial systems
- Validate and authorise expenditures, optimize cash flow, and monitor bank accounts.
- Comply with legislation, HMRC requirements, and produce VAT returns
- Provide Directors with relevant and accurate monthly reports for informed decision-making
- Analyse and provide feedback on expense reports to budget holders
- Develop and analyse annual budgets and ensure company compliance with financial regulations
- Establish and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets
- Provide leadership, coaching, and on-the-job training to the team
- Undertake any other relevant tasks as needed

**The successful Finance Business Partner will require the following knowledge and experience**:

- Qualified with CIMA/ACCA certification
- Adequate experience in a comparable finance role
- Familiarity with multi-group consolidation
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, and distribution would be advantageous
- Essential proficiency in using and managing Sage 200 or a similar system
- Strong communication skills with all key stakeholders
