It's an exciting time to come and join the Sepura team. We are on the lookout for a Senior Analog Electronics Engineer to play a key role within the Electronics team as we expand to match our growing product portfolio.

Our Senior Electronics Engineers are involved in the whole product lifecycle from initial specification of critical subsystems, through detailed design and testing of the finished product.

**Your Role**

The role requires a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working both on their own and as part of a team. We require someone who can adapt to changing requirements and effectively communicate their progress with both design and verification of the platform.

**Your Day to Day**

As a Senior Electronics Engineer at Sepura Ltd, you will be involved in board level designs for the whole lifecycle of product development. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Requirements analysis and understanding including liaison with stakeholders
- Technical design and specification for a range of radio and accessory products, including: - Ownership of the complete subsystem design and implementation.
- Integration between electronic subsystems
- Component specification and sourcing
- Design, integration and test documentation
- Collaborating across disciplines to resolve design and integration issues
- Supporting type approval activities
- Providing technical support to end customers and subcontract manufacturers
- Progress reporting to project team and line manager
- Supporting and mentoring more junior engineers
**What you need to succeed**
- Qualifications_
- Bachelors degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience and Skills _
- In-depth experience of analogue circuit design, including audio amplifiers, power supplies, protection circuits and low-noise design
- Low-power circuit design for battery powered products
- Design for EMC/ESD protection
- Design for Manufacturing and Test
- Experience of a product development environment
- Nice to have_
- Knowledge of intrinsic safety and ATEX
- Experience of designing battery packs
- Experience of modelling and optimising product battery life
