East Hampshire Norse is the partnership which focusses on delivering key frontline services across the local area, undertaking waste management and grounds maintenance as part of its portfolio.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Waste Supervisor to join our Refuse & Waste Management team operating from Petersfield, this position is being offered on a full time, permanent contract working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

**The role**

As **Waste Supervisor, **you will be responsible for directly running and overseeing the daily waste collection services, you will need to organise workforce and ensure a robust operation is in place to meet contractual requirements and targets are being achieved.

You will need to the ability to hit the ground running and capable of working in a high pressured environment, you will need to show that you have first hand experience within a frontline waste collection services role. Alongside this you will also need to ensure Health and Safety is adhered to and operational staff are trained to a high standard.

Alongside a combination of industry knowledge and experience you will;
- Extensive experience within frontline Waste collection services. 3/5 years minimum..
- Ability to think on your feet and act promptly.
- Ability to manage workforce and meet required deadlines.
- In depth knowledge of Waste collection services.
- Previous supervisory experience within the waste services sector.
- Full UK driving licence - LGV / HGV.
