A pivotal role to ensure that we have the right stock in the right place at the right time. Supporting the Merchandising team or Central A&R team to plan and execute inventory at sku/store level for the relevant category/channel in order to successfully achieve sales, profit, margin and stock targets. Working collaboratively with the merchandising team to maximise inventory for events and new store openings as well as providing great customer service to our stores.

**As an Allocation & Replenishment Assistant, you’ll**:

- Have ownership of stock at sku/store level across all selling channels
- Communicate with cross functional teams to manage risk and opportunity
- Execute changes in the Allocation and Replenishment systems including product set up, stocking policy changes in AIP and promotional uplifts
- Deliver store/sku forecast accuracy improvements that can influence stock buys and markdown activities, delivering significant year on year improvement
- Activate systemic parameters to optimise stockholding for digital channels
- Execute the delivery of options into all channels with Merchandising.
- Execute and measure Range launch with Merchandising, including parameter recommendations
- Review weekly trading performance closely with Merchandising for all channels to identify stock issues / opportunities with emphasis on timely resolution
- Create and manage SKU/store level demand forecasts; ensuring that they are accurate, stable and there is consensus between these and financial plan
- Work within agreed forecasts to ensure sales, stock holding, margin and availability are optimised.
- Manipulate category A&R parameters to manage the flow of clearance/DD stock to minimise markdown costs whilst maximising sales, stocks and availability
- Forecast future sales demand at store level for a set of categories to capture seasonal events, promotional activity and markdown to maximise availability in stores
- Financial - delivery to targets and budgets (Sales, Profit, Margin & Markdown, Availability (Gross / Net margin %), Stock cover, store/sku forecasting, availability)

**Our Allocation & Replenishment team would love to see**:

- Technical knowledge of merchandising, forecasting & planning systems
- How to communicate effectively, influence and engage, building relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong understanding of how different categories, channels and markets operate
- Product Lifecycle, knowledge of systemic levers and tools to execute the plan
- Computer literate, Systems knowledge especially Excel and MS office Strong analytical & numerical skills
- Ability to coach new colleagues, particularly with business processes, tools and systems
- Excellent admin and organisational ability
- Accuracy and attention to detail related to process and systems
- A tenacity to overcome people or process obstacles, addressing issues in an open and constructive way
- Uses processes to get results and recognising when to go outside of the process when the issue requires and develop practical solutions to problems
