Overall Purpose of Roles
As one of our Joiners pr Plumbers, you will assist the Director with the day to day operations in meeting our customer requirements. Supporting the completion of installation or maintenance projects, your focus on professional standards will always be at the heart of your work. You will undertake a range of joinery activities in a timely, safe and organized manner, you will pay particular attention to maintaining the high standards already in place.
**Relationships**: Reports to Director, liaises with customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The responsibilities of the postholder will include but not be limited to the following:
- Support the Director to ensure all installations are completed efficiently in a timely manner whilst adhering to high standards.
- Work with the Director to ensure installations and repairs are carried out efficiently
- Carry out QA checks of installations/maintenance/repairs
- Minimize customer rejection levels by working to customer specification and adhering to procedures as outlined in the company documentation.
- Ensure activities are carried out efficiently
- Follow procedures as directed by the Director
- Assist the Director to maintain the stock and consumables and carry out periodic stock takes.
- Take part in company audits as and when required
- Ensure that all enquiries are addressed and administration deadlines met.
- Willingness to undertake other duties as and when required.
Experience and Qualifications
- Must have a valid CSCS/trade card
- Time served or formally qualified in carpentry/joinery or plumbing
- Experienced of domestic and commercial installation, maintenance and repair
- Track record of delivery and high customer satisfaction within a busy plumbing role
- Valid Asbestos Awareness certification is preferred
