Do you have a passion for health and safety or looking for your first post in this field after recently completing a course at college? You might even work in a care or other setting and carry out health and safety checks as part of your current role but you’d like to do it full time.
If so, we have the perfect position for you. L&Q Living is recruiting a Health and Safety Assistant at Cornell Court, a 73 bedded Later Life Living scheme in Saffron Walden.
The role involves carrying out regular health and safety checks at the scheme to ensure that our older customers are kept safe. The role also involves meeting with our customers to talk about the health and safety procedures in place at the scheme.
**What sort of checks do we carry out?**
- Fire alarm testing
- Water flushing of void properties
- Fire door checks
- Smoke alarm testing
- General observations for hazards
- Building checks to ensure correct signage is in place
