**Centre Co-ordinator**

**Job Description & Person Specification**

**Salary: £22,500 - £24,000 (depending on experience)**

**Hours: Part time 22.5hrs a week (days to be agreed, available to work 1 Saturday a month)**

**Contract: Fixed Term until January 10th 2024**

**Location: Office based, Port Talbot**

- Deal with initial centre enquiries and work with Centre Manager to look at best solution.
- Meet and greet visitors when they arrive at centre.
- Responsible for administrative functions as allocated by the Centre Manager.
- Assist in Test Traders relationship management in collaboration with Centre Manager.
- Prepare meeting room for events (movement of tables, chairs for preferred layout)
- Liaise with new Test Traders on the layout of their dedicated area within the Test Trading

Pod.
- Prepare Test Trading Pods for new vendors. (move/arrange/store relevant furniture required by new occupants)
- Assist with storage of items from the test trading spaces where required by the vendors.
- Take payments for the Test Trading Pods in collaboration with Centre Manager.
- Support with Marketing the centre including posting on social media (Facebook /

Instagram) using Canva design programme.
- Support with the organisation and execution of events.
- Key holder for centre and responsible for the opening/closure of the centre in collaboration with the Centre Manager.
- Deal with initial customer complaints or issues and escalate to centre manager where appropriate.
- Support with the planning and delivery of events.
- Finance Management
- Attend and provide support at events (including wider Viva Port Talbot organised town centre events) on an ad hoc basis.

Experience of working in the business support The role is based within a business centre sector supporting new and trading businesses, knowledge of the local economy and what support is available to businesses would be desirable.

Event Management Experience of planning and executing events

Marketing/ Social Media Experience Knowledge of utilising all social media platforms to market the centre’s services and events and increase followers.
Experience using Canva

Ability to speak Welsh Ability to converse in Welsh.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
