Bereavement Officer

We are looking to employ a Bereavement Officer to join our team at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester for 11 hours per week.

The role will involve providing an efficient, reliable, responsive and holistic service. You will need to sensitively handle and safe guard deceased patients’ personal effects then returning them to relatives.

The Bereavement Officer will provide a holistic and compassionate service for relatives of patients who die within the hospital. They will carefully and efficiently co-ordinate the process for issuing the medical cause of death documentation to the next of kin, lost property services and the daily mortality process within the trust.
