**Salary**:UK £20,100/ROI €27,100 per annum pro rata

**What is the role?**

Working as part of our Strategy team, we have a range of opportunities for students to support projects within this area.

Our Strategy summer placements provides real hands-on experience through a 12-week placement. Throughout the placement, you will have the support of a business mentor and buddy, who will provide guidance and support to enable you to reach your full potential.

Our summer placement students work collaboratively in a variety of contexts, while also taking ownership of their role by working under their own direction to drive action forward. There will also be networking and presentation opportunities, specialist sessions and support from our graduates.

**What do I need?**

We would love you to be studying a degree related to Strategy, Innovation or Sustainability. Our opportunities are open to students who are in their 2nd year of their degree onwards or those who have already graduated.

We'd love you to have some practical work or project experience that reflects your passion for the energy sector, as well as demonstrable experience of working in a team. You'll also be comfortable working to and setting stretching individual targets and using your own initiative to overcome challenges and should have a genuine interest in SSE and the prospect of a long-term future with us.
