**Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 DOE**

**Location: Hailsham, East Sussex**

**Full time - Permanent**

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our client as an Excavation Operative.

Based in East Sussex, our client is an established Excavation and Construction specialist with over 35 years' experience in the industry. They offer a wide range of services; from Cable Pulling, Duct installation, Excavations for Drainage, Electric, Water,Civils, and surfacing works. As a result of their continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Excavation Operative, to join their team.

**Principal duties will include**:

- Assisting on site with works as an operative
- Tarmacking
- White & black works
- Traffic Management
- Excavations
- Physical labour works including Wheel barrowing, kerbing, loading, and unloading vehicles

**The Person**:

- Holds a Streetworks certificate to excavate on the highways.
- Experience in excavations, civils work, traffic management, white works, and black works.
- UK Driving licence
- Always adhere to health and safety requirements
- Must be flexible with working hours
- Physically fit due to the nature of the works

**Desirables**:

- Excavator ticket
- CSCS card
- Towing licence desirable

**Benefits**:

- Salary £30,000 to £36,000 doe (depending on experience)
- Hours: 7am - 4pm
- Overtime including weekend availability
