At Gregory Distribution Ltd, we have a vacancy for a
**HGV Driver**
***based at our
**Exeter**
***Depot.

**To become part of the Gregory Team, we need our Drivers to have the following**:

- A valid LGV UK Driving Licence.
- A valid UK Driver CPC Card.
- A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.

**The position will involve**:

- Predominately driving a Class 2 (C) vehicle delivering specialist parts and equipment on behalf of our client to keep their local depots fully stocked, ready for them to complete planned maintenance work.
- Providing support on a secondary contract, driving a Class 1 (CE) vehicle collecting and delivering specialist MHE (Mechanical Handling Equipment) and accessories on behalf of our client (nights out required).
- Working on a set delivery rota with known destinations and depots.
- Loading/unloading of vehicle using a Counterbalance forklift truck (training provided).
- Putting stock away at the delivery depots, either by hand or using a forklift.
- Working with handheld devices to record and monitor workload daily.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customer’s expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
