We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic supply chain professional with first class numerical and analytical skills, a strong commercial acumen and experience of head office merchandising.

**Specific Actions**:

- Assisting with stock ordering and fulfilment to cover the varying demands of the business.
- Managing the purchasing delivery schedule and order chasing to ensure prompt and timely delivery.
- Identifying production and supply difficulties and dealing with any problems or delays as they arise.
- Working with the quality team to clarify packaging, safety labels, quality control measures and best practice requirements.
- Monitoring the status of sales orders, assisting with allocation issues and liaising with relevant teams to ensure smooth and timely transition through to dispatch.
- Assisting with the analysis of bestsellers, slow sellers, supplier, retail, and category performance.
- Keeping supplier brochure information up to date and organised.

**Key Experiences & Skills**:
**About you**:

- Degree qualified.
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Commercial awareness and excellent numerical skills.
- Advanced level of experience with MS Excel, with the ability to create, maintain and update spreadsheets.
- Flexible and able to work such hours as may be necessary to fulfil the role.
- Ability to work on own initiative, priorities workloads and meet stringent deadlines.
- Initiative-taking, well-organised and meticulous
- Methodical and efficient
- Capable of multitasking
- Team player with the ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Excellent external and internal customer service skills, good written and verbal communication, with good negotiation skills
- Ability to build excellent working relationships with suppliers.
- Flexible, courteous, friendly, and positive approach
- Driver with own car
- Experience of working with OrderWise software an advantage

**Contract Terms**:
**Full Time**: 8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday
**Salary**:up to £22,000 - £25,000
**Contract Type**: Full time, Permanent
**Location**: Elland, West Yorkshire
