The Flexible Pipe Systems business supplies specialist unbonded flexible subsea flowline and riser systems globally. Innovating in the energy industry, we connect subsea and surface with industry leading technology.

As a Control Specialist your role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing internal factory equipment. Carrying out faulting finding on PLC, AC/DC Drives and electrical systems and suggesting improvements in products, processes, and procedures.

As a Control Engineer, you will be responsible for:

- Performing technical work specific to electrical, equipment review, etc.
- Helping managing sub-contractors to support equipment upgrades/installations.
- Signing off on engineering design & certifications.
- Exchanging data and information interaction concerns and improvements in products, processes, and procedures.
- Handling standardized manufacturing processes guidelines for choosing the right actions.
- Supporting Production with machinery manufacturing issues.
- Working with external vendors.
- Supporting machinery software backups.

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a minimum of an HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, with specialism in Control Systems
- Have 18th Edition and extensive experience working to BSEN 60204-1
- Have extensive experience Integrating and Modifying Programmable Logic Controllers, ideally Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, Omron, Giddings & Lewis
- Have experience working with AC/DC Drives
- Have experience working with HMI’s
- Have sound problem-solving skills
- Have sound oral and written communication skills
- Have sound interpersonal and leadership skills
