We have an opportunity available for an Dementia Advisor to the join the team at join the team at our Derby City Dementia Support Service based in Derby DE22 4NB.

**Responsibilities**:
**The Role**:
You will be responsible for providing information, advice, and support for carers and people living with dementia and to promote the provision for carers and service users in line with current national objectives. You will organise and facilitate group activities for people living with dementia and their carers. You must be computer and excel literate, compassionate, friendly and have excellent telephone manner.

Qualifications:
To join the team at Making Space you don’t need to have previous experience or qualifications - we’re happy to work with you to help you become a skilled worker however previous experience working or have supported someone with dementia would be an advantage but not essential for the role.
