What it's like to work here:Reporting to the Facilities Manager and working with the Facilities Coordinator, you'll work alongside a small facilities team, across the whole property, including individual working over weekends and schools holidays / bank holidays on a rota basis.
The Children’s Country House at Sudbury focuses on creating a space where children and families can engage with heritage. We want our visit to be playful, accessible and inclusive across the museum, garden and house.
You'll maintain our facilities to a high standard. Working together with other departments to help provide a positive experience at The Children’s Country House.
What you'll be doing:As the Facilities Assistant, you'll assist with the day to day cleanliness and presentation of our buildings and outdoor spaces. You'll turn your practical hand to all sorts of cleaning and minor maintenance ensuring all our facilities are kept in good working order.
Regular duties such as cleaning, sweeping and litter picking will form a core part of the role, both inside and outdoors. You'll also be asked to help with some manual work such as unloading deliveries. You'll ensure our health and safety compliance responsibilities are kept to the highest standard.
You’ll provide the highest standards of customer service across the area by always implementing a ‘customer comes first’ attitude.
