Stafffinders are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our care home client based in Duns, in the Scottish Borders.

**Your rate of pay and hours of work**

In this position, you will be compensated with a competitive hourly wage of £10.90, paid weekly with holiday pay accrued. The schedule for this role consists of split shifts on Thursdays and Saturdays, spanning from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm and later from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

**Responsibilities within your new role**
- Supporting the chef in food preparation, upholding stringent standards of hygiene and safety throughout the process
- Attending to residents with respect and efficiency, considering their specific dietary requirements
- Thoroughly cleaning both kitchen and dining spaces post-service
- Guaranteeing adherence to all health and safety regulations
- Collaborating seamlessly with the team to facilitate the operation of kitchen functions
