**About the team**

The Commercial Operations team supports the business to deliver our client projects and achieve their commercial goals. Our overarching goal is to ensure client satisfaction, maximise productivity, and maintain exceptional service quality for our clients. We achieve this by coordinating core aspects of the business, including resource allocation, project management, process optimisation, and tooling & systems management.

**What you'll do**:
We're looking ASAP for an interim Head of Operations on an initial three month contract, with the possibility to extend for a further three months. Key responsibilities are management of 3 direct reports and an indirect team of 8, working closely with our CFO in guiding the business through a period of change and transformation.

Our Commercial Operations team own key metrics related to the delivery of our consulting engagements, including project resourcing, pricing governance and compliance. They play a pivotal role in mitigating the potential of any contractual risks and ensure that margin is monitored in line with project pricing and team utilisation. You may also assist with integration of teams and systems and wider infrastructure or tooling changes, and business changes, as required.

**What you'll need**:

- Demonstrated experience in leading an Operations organisation or service-focused team
- Significant experience managing complex programmes and projects, ideally in multiple geographies and time-zones
- Comfortable extracting and utilising data to measure, track and improve performance, and present timely updates and reports to senior leadership
- Stakeholder management to C-level leaders and board members internally, and similarly senior clients externally
- Familiarity with best-practice tools, technology and methodologies and processes
- Capable of setting a vision and strategy for the Operations team while also being comfortable to dive deep into individual projects and stay abreast of the finer details
