**Salary**: £21,368 - £22,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

The purpose of the role is to deliver transactional services and processing activity to a teaM/Function within the BBC. This generally involves providing information, managing data and executing process delivery while following clearly defined process, in line with pre-defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

**Main Responsibilities**:
The Grants Assistant will process a high volume of grant acceptance documentation to tight deadlines ensuring all bank details are updated accurately on our database.
They will send grant-making decision letters ensuring that they are sent out accurately and to a high quality.
The Grants Assistant will plan and organise online and face to face conferences delivered across the UK. This involves liaising with a range of colleagues, booking rooms, arranging catering, sending invites, hosting Zoom conferences and producing and distributing documentation packs.
- You will be an advocate of great customer care with extensive experience of dealing regularly with the public.
- You will have excellent customer service skills and a strong telephone manner with the ability to handle challenging conversations.
- You will have demonstrable evidence of excellent organisational and administrative skills, the ability to efficiently prioritise an often busy and diverse workload and you will have contributed effectively and positively within a team.
- You will also have extensive experience of using databases regularly as well as working under pressure with high volumes of work and, importantly, experience of prioritising workloads effectively.
