**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**SCOPE/GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB**: This position offers you an opportunity to lead on complex procurement projects as well as day to day operations within Simply NUC’s global procurement team. Acting as our functional expert for the Global Procurement team’s processes and systems, your main focus will involve global contracts and strategy.

This is an opportunity to drive major savings initiatives through sourcing, demand management and process optimization. You will work to cultivate close relationships with business partners globally to support their objectives and the company growth agenda.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Gather, analyze and interpret demand data to aid continuous improvement and strategy development and use this to inform Global strategy and adapt plans to meet changing economic and competitive conditions
- Direct responsibility for all materials sourced globally, maintaining highly effective cross functional relationships with key internal stakeholders. This will require working across multiple business areas to support the national launch of new and existing products.
- Review contracts to ensure accuracy of financial terms and completion of re-negotiations within timelines
- Manage operational, distributor and supplier-related issues, other various requests as required (sourcing, product information)
- Conduct cost analysis and develop pricing models to support negotiation efforts and secure the best possible terms for the company
- Provide various reporting and analytics as required
- Develop and implement effective regional and/or Global sourcing strategies
- Ensuring supplier delivery on time to meet business requirements
- Managing and forecasting inventory requirements
- Logistics function incorporating both incoming materials and outgoing shipments to optimize customer service and packaging / logistics cost-out opportunities
- Work within ISO 9001 parameters
- Create and maintain data sheets

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**:

- 5+ years experience in a mid - senior level position managing a team of buyers or sourcing professionals
- Strong understanding of global markets and trends
- Experience and knowledge of ERP systems materials scheduling
- Experience in navigating and understanding commercial agreements
- A proven ability to lead and develop teams
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to build relations with both suppliers and customers
- ISO 9001 Experience

**DESIRABLE**:

- CPIM qualified
- Broad industry experience within a manufacturing / production environment - PC component experience preferable
- MSc/BSc in Procurement or related field

**TRAVEL**:

- Some Global travel required to check out OEM’s
