**The opportunity**

The Mechanical Services Assurance Lead role forms a key part within the compliance services function in leading a consistent management service and an effective Mechanical Services assurance programme across the Clients Global portfolio.

The main drivers for service being Legislative and regulatory asset compliance, effective and efficient delivery, and high-quality service outputs. Delivered and managed through a blend of both preferred supplier partners and internal teams.

The development of the FMS platform and Tririga will be pivotal in supporting /enhancing delivery through our supplier partners, integrating a seamless end-to-end instruction and reporting process to ensure global consistency.

The role will implement and oversee asset management strategies regarding service delivery, provide asset data for review and analytics to enable decisions that will drive continuous improvement across the delivery function. Ensuring asset performance and asset reliability.

With a specific focus on Environmental Services Infrastructure; Water Hygiene and management, pollution control, pressure vessels, Radon, lighting, and noise abatement, you will work closely with our Risk function to ensure relevant data and evidence is provided in a timely manner to meet all regulatory and legislative requirements.

The role will provide specialist knowledge and guidance within their sphere of influence, communicating and reporting on a frequent basis to all global stakeholders.

**What you will do**
- Management of our supplier partners to deliver optimum management and assurance solutions, globally.
- Provide Assurance to ISO14001 across Global Corporate Portfolio
- Management of preferred suppliers to ensure Legislative and Regulatory compliance across Global Statutory Assets and property.
- Guidance and advice regarding Environmental Services Infrastructure, statute, and regulatory requirements.
- Delivery of corrective / remedial activity through supplier partners or internal teams.
- KPI delivery and Statutory Compliance Assurance levels met and maintained.
- Readily available statutory certification, digitised and captured within an ISS primary system.
- Stakeholder engagement and management, across the internal and external global community.
- An asset management approach that ensures operational effectiveness and investment optimisation.
- Data review and analytics to drive continuous improvement.

**What you need to succeed**
- Engineering / Environmental Services Qualification or equivalent
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent (NVQ level 5 / 6)
- More than 10yrs experience working within the Environmental Services industry.
- Strong understanding of statutory and legal compliance requirements regarding Environmental Services infrastructure.
- Knowledge in the execution of scheduled maintenance activity with an initiative-taking approach to asset management, whole life cycle costing and capital investment strategies.
- System auditing qualification or experience to ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001.
- Experience in a senior management position in a corporate Engineering, FM, HSE role.
- A collaborator with good supply chain management skills
- Stakeholder management and effective communication to drive results.
