**The job itself**:
Required to start as soon as possible. Kings Mill School & Residence would like to recruit one Child Care Officer to work 20 hours per week and two Child Care Officers to work 30 hours per week in the residence. Various shifts are available between Monday - Saturday. Made up of shifts 7am-10am & 3pm-10pm.

Kings Mill School & Residence cater for children and young people with a learning disability and we seek a person who is committed to this client group and who will be enthusiastic in enabling children and young people achieve their full potential.

You will be reliable and enthusiastic with an ability to engage with children and young people who have varying special needs. A minimum of two years’ experience working with this client group is required.

Informal visits are encouraged and can be arranged by prior appointment.

You must be able to explain any gaps in your employment/ education history and you must have a legal right to work in the UK.
