**Walker and Sloan are proud to be working with a fantastic Digital Marketing Agency. Due to some great growth they are looking to bring on board a Digital Project Manager or Senior to their team on a full time basis. The role can also be fully remote.**

We are looking for an experienced **Digital Project Manager** to join the team and help us create great digital services that will have a positive impact on vulnerable peoples’ lives.

We have ambitious growth plans to become a leading provider of digital solutions and digital transformation services within social care. We are already working with over thirty local authorities throughout the country. Our app is used to provide help andsupport to young people leaving care and we have co-produced digital projects for families with special educational needs and disabilities, and children in care. It’s an exciting time with lots of genuinely innovative work taking place.

We are now seeking a **Digital Project Manager** or **Senior Digital Project Manager** who can take responsibility for the delivery of projects to our customers within the public sector. You will need to be creative and have a positivemindset to problem solving, and we are looking for someone to help us scope new processes and procedures - this is a role where you will genuinely have your say on the way we run our projects.

Typically a Digital Project Manager at the agency will be getting stuck into:

- Continually reviewing our project management methodologies, helping us drive improvement.
- The day to day management of projects: ensuring everyone involved in a project is aware of their responsibilities (including client side) and has the right information to complete their work.
- Pushing projects forward to meet deadlines and milestones.
- Leading project meetings with client-side project managers and other stakeholders, who sometimes might be senior. Showing and demonstrating designs and prototypes, taking questions and comments, presenting with confidence.
- Being aware of project profit, loss, margins and efficiencies, and regularly reporting into our SMT for monthly operational planning.
- Problem solving where we meet challenges with stakeholder expectations, resource availability, client behaviour and other factors. Proactively identify risk in projects and look to mitigate with support from other team members.
- Be an enthusiastic project owner throughout the lifecycle, helping bring the project to life for developers, team members, clients and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a close and friendly working relationship with client-side project managers and other stakeholders, becoming their trusted adviser.
- Ensure that work delivered is of a high quality and is properly and completely tested prior to deployment to production / live environment and complies with ISO operational procedures.
- Have genuine eagerness to continually learn and improve understanding of latest technology and innovation within the digital industry.

**Required skills**
- a minimum of three years in a similar role, preferably in a digital agency - in either a dedicated project management role or as an account manager with lots of project management experience.
- experience of effective communication and relationship building with project stakeholders, including those at a senior level.
- a technical knowledge of website build, testing and content management.
- a positive, enthusiastic and a creative attitude towards problem solving.
- experience in working with internal development / technical teams.

**And some of the following would be an advantage**:

- experience of working with the public sector.
- knowledge or experience of web design / development processes such as UX, wireframing, user journey mapping and website accessibility.

**A couple of other important points**:
This role is home / remote based and is likely to stay that way for the foreseeable future. Our team get together in Bristol for some collaborative working a few times a month, but this is purely optional.

There may be some very limited travel to customer sites, likely to be a few times a year.
