This is an exciting new next chapter and the opportunity to drive real transformation for people who display challenging behaviour and their families by holding government and policy makers to account and by continuing to provide the trusted, practical support and advice which many families say is a lifeline. **About the Organisation**

The foundation was set up in 1997 by Vivien Cooper OBE, the parent of a child with severe learning disabilities who displayed a range of challenging behaviours. At the time, there was no support for families like Viv’s and no adequate provision to support her son - other than almost three hundred miles away

Crucially, families remain at the heart of the work. It is their experiences that shape everything; from the direct support provided through the family advice service, to the training that is delivered for commissioners and providers, through to the rich evidence base they bring from working with families to challenge the system and to “speak truth to power”.

You may also have experience in areas such as CEO, Chief Exec, Chief Executive, Chief Executive Officer, COO, Head of Social Care, Director of Social Care, Care, Social Care, Care Home Manager, Service Manager, Care and Support, Community Care.
