We are currently recruiting for a Band 3 Cook / Supervisor with Housekeeping Duties for the Western Trust.

The post holder will provide catering and housekeeping services within Beechlea Children’s home, duties will involve menu planning; ordering and supervising waste control; housekeeping duties such as cleaning; and creating a homely environment for the young individuals residing in the home.

The post is located in Enniskillen.

Salary is £10.40 per hour.

Working pattern will be 28 hours per week, this is a temporary to ongoing contract.
- Experience_

1 years relevant experience as a cook working
within a commercial catering/Health Care facility.
AND
NVQ level 1 & 2 in Catering Qualification or and
Guilds 706/1 plus 706/2 or equivalent.
OR
3 years relevant experience as a cook working
within a commercial catering/Health Care facility.
In addition to one of the above:
CIEH Level 2 Food Safety.
AND
Basic Food Hygiene Qualification

Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to Work on own initiative.
Good organizational skills,
Confidentiality,
Ability to listen and communicate with staff and
Looked-After young people who reside in the
home.

young people residing in the home.

Budgeting skills,
Food Hygiene Regulations and HACCP
Menu planning,
Ordering and waste control
Understanding of housekeeping duties including
cleaning
Have an understanding and interest in the needs
of Looked After Children
