Service Care Solutions are looking for an End User Computing Engineer to work on a Remote basis for a Government entity in Merseyside.
Key Responsibilities
- Deputise for the Lead Application Operations Engineer
- Lead and manage the Application Operations (Office 365) team responsible, for the administration, upgrading, deployment, management and use of all O365 products
- Plan, budget and account for the Application Operations (O365) Team's work
- Engage with senior stakeholders to promote opportunities with using the O365 product suite.
- Raise the digital literacy of all colleagues, demonstrating how the products can be used and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of working practices
- Lead the proactive identification and resolutions of O365 issues before they impact the user/customer
- Lead the delivery of Problem Management (Preventative Maintenance), diagnosing root causes of problems, prioritising maintenance activity and developing fixes
- Lead by example the maintenance of the highest standards of user and customer focus, ensuring that services are delivery to user/customer satisfaction and endeavour to routinely communicate with users/customers to promote, confidence that incidents and problemsare being tackled.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
Experience of or working towards ITIL v4 Foundation
- Experience of leading engineering teams
- Experience of scripting languages
- Experience of, or willingness to learn Microsoft Azure
- Excellent oral and written communications
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
