If so, we may have just what you are looking for An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Band 7 Rheumatology CNS/practitioner to join our existing, highly professional and friendly team.

The role will be to enhance patient focused specialised multidisciplinary care for people living with a range of Rheumatology disorders. You will be someone who should have a good knowledge of a range of Rheumatic conditions, be able to effectively and efficiently manage the complex specialised rheumatology patients and be able to ensure that patients, their families and the department are fully supported. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, developing and implementing specialist programmes of care and undertaking specialist procedures.
- The post holder is a recognised expert in the specialty, responsible for assessing, developing and implementing specialist nursing care programmes and undertaking specialist nursing procedures
- Responsible for providing specialist advice and support to, and liaising with, other staff. This includes the provision of specialist education and training for other staff and students
- Responsible for implementing a clearly defined integrated approach to patient care encompassing new treatments and evidence based care
- Required to undertake research and lead clinical audits in own specialist area
