JOB TITLE: Residential Property Solicitor
PQE: 3+ years’
LOCATION: South-East London
SALARY: Negotiable DOE + Bonus + Flexible Working
THE ROLE:
As an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, you will have conduct of a full and varied caseload dealing with a range of residential property matters, including Freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases, new-build sales, drafting leases, preparing contractpacks, drafting Transfers of Part for new builds and other matters, drafting Deeds of Variation and refinance (including bridging finance). You will be offered secretarial support and have access to the firm’s professional support lawyer. This role is beingoffered on a full-time basis with flexible working.
THE CANDIDATE:
The appointed Residential Property Solicitor will be at least 3 years’ PQE with a solid and proven background in this area of law. You will possess an understanding of Planning and Building Control requirements, be familiar with UK finance requirements andpreferably be familiar with lease extensions (voluntary and statutory and as part of conveyancing transaction) however training will be provided. Training will also be provided for Enfranchisement (pursuant to 1993 Act and Landlord and Tenant Act 1987) togetherwith training for Licences for Alterations. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential in order to manage and adhere to deadlines whilst working efficiently at all times.
