**The Position**:An exciting opening has arisen for a Site Operative to join the team at ReFood’s Anaerobic Digestion facility in Doncaster. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established and growing company that is committed to helping conserve natural resources and protect the environment.

This is a permanent role working an average of 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, on a 2 week rotating shift pattern.

You will assist in ensuring that the operations at the Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Site are carried out in a safe working environment and in a cost-effective manner, in accordance with all Group Policies, and in compliance with all statutory regulations and requirements.

As a Site Operative your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the factory requirements but will include:

- Assisting the Operations Manager in controlling and coordinating the safe and efficient operation of the ReFood operation in accordance with management instructions, Health & Safety and Legislative requirements.
- Operating the Mobile Plant in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with Group Policies and Procedures.
Ensuring that the facility, its plant and equipment are maintained and cleaned as specified.
- Working in accordance with staff rosters and the provision of cover for planned/unplanned absence.
- Undertaking any other duties reasonably requested by the ReFood Management Team

**Requirements**:

- Have the ability to handle Raw Material at times. Some heavy lifting may be required.
- Be able to work on your own or as part of a team with mínimal supervision.
- Have the ability to undertake, process and quality check and perform basic lab tests.
- A Forklift Truck License would be advantageous.
- Be flexible, practical, and hardworking.
