**The Company**
Due to continued growth and success, this international law firmhas an exciting opportunity for a Head of Programmes & Projects to join them. This award-winning firm is known for being welcoming and supportive of their employees - business services and lawyers/ trainees alike. Known for being international legal experts in sectors such as digital business, energy, financial services, life sciences, real estate, retail and more, they have represented many household names. This role will involve leading a deliveryteam of over 10 programme and project managers with the remit of delivering on the firms' key and strategic programmes & projects whilst taking a hands on role in programme managing.

**Key Responsibilities** of the Head of Programmes & Projects
- Ensuring that the programme & project management resource and capability within the firm is enabled to successfully deliver on key and strategic programmes & projects of work
- Tracking and reporting of portfolio wide benefits and the associated return on investment against the annual investment plan
- Creating a culture of successful project delivery, building a team with a reputation across the firm for delivering tangible change as required by the business
- Embedding and developing best practice programme and project management approaches and methodologies both across the change function and the firm as a whole
- Working with technical specialists across different departments to ensure that programmes and projects have access to the resources required to enable successful delivery

**Skills & Attributes** of the Head of Programmes & Projects
- Experience in managing and delivering tangible change across a business focussed, strategic portfolio within the professional services or legal sector
- The ability to build and manage a high performing team of programme and project managers and to create a sense of community amongst the project teams
- Previous line management experience would be an advantage but is not essential
- The ability to manage and influence a complex stakeholder landscape (including c-suite level) in order to successfully deliver sustainable change that is fit for purpose across the business
- An approach that recognises the criticality of change management and benefits management in successfully delivering sustainable business change
- A good understanding of change management and business analysis, ensuring you have a robust understanding of what the end to end delivery lifecycle requires in order to deliver on business outcomes and the needs of the customer
