OK4U is a lively Day Centre for Adults with a Disability. We are looking for an individual to come and join our team as a Bus Escort on our community buses.

Your next role

The role is split shifts, picking people up to attend the day centre, and then taking people home in the afternoon. The people you are supporting have many complex needs but we work mainly with people who have a learning disability and/or a physical disability.

You will need to ensure people are safe on the bus, making sure that safety equipment is used and all individuals arrive safely at the day centre. You are a key individual in our service and must enjoy working with people and have good communication with service users, their families or carers and the Day Centre staff.

Hours are between 07.00 to 09.30 and 14.30 to 16.30. We currently have one post, of 22.5 hours per week.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
